Gmunden Ceramics
Gmunden at the Traunsee is a picturesque little town. Situated directly on the lakeside, it was a popular summer resort during the k. u. k. Monarchy. Today, stately villas and the narrow, winding old town with its pastel-coloured houses still bear witness to this.
But Gmunden is also a centre for ceramics and calls itself a “ceramics city”. In the narrow streets you can find – among other typographically interesting details – reliefs and lettering made of this unusual material.
